DEMONSTRATIO MATHEMATICA

The journal DEMONSTRATIO MATHEMATICA has been published since 1969, from the year 1972 in English and other languages (recently exclusively in English). It was originally founded as a means to stimulate mathematical research at technical universities in Poland, but since then it has established its name as a truly international journal devoted to mathematical demonstrations of high quality from all fields of mathematics. It is published by the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences of Warsaw Technical University. It appears as a quarterly, 4 issues a year. In one volume a year we include about 80 papers. Recently the average number of papers submitted every year is about 230, approximately 65% are rejected by our referees. Demonstratio Mathematica has been indexed by Scopus since 2011.

To maintain high standard of published papers, all papers are subject to the peer-referee process and accepted (or rejected) at regular meetings of the Editorial Board. Our referees are experts in various branches of mathematics widely recognized both in Poland and abroad.

The journal is open to authors from all over the world. It is distributed by way of exchange and sale to a large number of international universities and mathematical libraries throughout the world. The journal is open to all high quality mathematical papers related to research conducted in technical universities.

Acknowledgment

We acknowledge with gratitude the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland, under the agreement 1069/P-DUN/2011, which made possible providing open access to our publications.

Editorial Board

The international Editorial Board consists of experts in all fields of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, approximation theory, differential equations, mathematical physics, dynamical systems and fractals, discrete mathematics, graph theory, probability theory, functional analysis, statistics and artificial intelligence.

Online access

Our online archive of past issues' tables of contents dates back to 1995. Starting with the volume 38(2005) the table of contents of each issue is followed by papers' abstracts. In mid 2011 we decided to provide open access to all new articles. We also made available past issues, starting volume 41(3)2008. Open access is granted under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of articles in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
In case of differences between the printed and the online version of a paper, the printed version is considered the primary and original.
